Today is the day this 30-something mama gets a bit closer to the big 4-0. No drama here though, as I count not the number of candles on my birthday cake, but the many blessings God has graced me with. I have my health, however fleeting it may be, a loving and supportive group of friends and family that I can count on, whether I take advantage of them or not, a roof over my head, and food on my table. And the highlights of my life--my husband and daughter--who are a great source of joy and entertainment. What else could I possibly ask for?And to anyone else out there celebrating a birthday today, I wish you peace, love, good health, and happiness, today and always.
